About me
Cronaca di un amore (Michelangelo Antonioni, 1950)
This is all too familiar. You thought everything was going well, going into a new phase of life. Only to be surprised that you would be left with noone and you would spend your days wandering the cafeteria hoping that one person would look up at you. That was never the case. You had to fight the tears back and pretend that you didn’t need anyone. From then on, it seems like noone actually cared about you. Friends seem to hover around you for awhile and then float away when they don’t need you anymore.
“We have only a little time to please the living. But all eternity to love the dead.”
— Sophocles, Antigone

I will always feel bad
For what you did to me
How you crushed every bit of my happiness
You betrayed my family
And now
You will be miserable
And find no success or happiness anywhere
Because you only found those in me
